NOTE #2: There will be a need to host some before or after school rehearsals for our December concert so that we may have the percussion and winds rehearse together. These dates and times will be added to the calendar this week and will be communicated.

2023 Grizzly Band Sets BOA San Antonio Record

This past weekend we wrapped up our 2023 marching band season with a remarkable and emotional performance at BOA San Antonio. Not only was it a truly memorable performance, but we set a Grizzly Band record at the show with a score of 80.25 and a 37th place finish! These are highest scores and final rankings that we have ever received at BOA San Antonio! Congratulations to everyone!

Next for the Grizzly Band

Now that we have concluded our marching season we will move directly into concert season. Students should be sure to bring marching instruments to school on Monday for check-in.

Students will be allowed to keep their shako wraps and show tops from this year as a keepsake for our 2023 season.

Volunteer Alert: Help w/ Billboards & Display Cabinets

We are looking for parents to help us with two projects in the band hall: our billboards and our display cabinets.

Volunteer Alert: 3D Printer Needed for "Grizzly Gears" for our students!

The Glenn Band is in a desperate need for a 3D printer!

Each year since 2021 we have given the students a "Gear" for each marching season. There is a special purpose behind each gear and each one is unique to the show.

This year our gear order shipped with the wrong size gear (and two months late). Now we are in severe need of someone to help us to make these important keepsakes for our students.

Spring Trip - Sign Up Now!

Thank you to all of those who have signed up for our Spring Trip this year!

So far we have only a handful of people sign up for our "band vacay". The Grizzly Band hasn't been on a spring trip in a LONG time (since 2019, to be exact!). You won't want to miss it! See more details below.

The Grizzly Band is beach-bound in Port Aransas/Corpus Christi!!!

We're excited to announce our optional but highly encouraged Spring Trip to Port Aransas! This is going to be a relaxing and fun time to unwind and spend time together after our UIL performances. We'll be spending 4 days and 3 nights at the El Constante beachside condominiums and enjoying the beach!

Seniors will also be getting a special senior golf cart outing!
