• Wednesday, 12/20: DMS 6th Grade Concert (Leadership set-up & tear-down)

November/December "Glenn Band Roadmap" Document

Indoor Percussion Meeting: Thursday, 11/16, 5:00-6:30pm

Informational meeting pertaining to ALL THINGS GLENN INDOOR PERCUSSION. This meeting is intended for all students who plan to audition / participate in the group, and for parents of those students. * Each student who attends must have at least one parent present at the meeting. *. There is no limit to how many family members may attend. Students who are interested in joining the group are NOT required to have any formal percussion training to be considered for an audition opportunity.

The meeting will cover (and is not limited to):

1. General overview of the Glenn Indoor Percussion program/Performing positions & numbers
2. Rehearsal schedules/performances dates & locations/time commitment
3. Student fees
4. Travel
5. Meals/sponsors/fundraising
6. Committee leads and volunteering (prop-building, spirit leads, pit crew, chaperones, hospitality)
7. Audition details
8. Veteran parent presentations
9. Q & A

Volunteer Alert: Help w/ Billboards & Display Cabinets

We are looking for parents to help us with two projects in the band hall: our billboards and our display cabinets.

Glenn YAC (Young Artists Contest) Prelims  DATE CHANGE

Please mark your calendars now - our YAC Prelims have been MOVED to now be on THURSDAY, APRIL 25th!

This is a required event for ALL Glenn Band students. Please check your calendars now to reschedule any appointments or other plans. Thank you for your understanding.

Spring Trip - Sign Up Now!

Thank you to all of those who have signed up for our Spring Trip this year!

So far we have only a handful of people sign up for our "band vacay". The Grizzly Band hasn't been on a spring trip in a LONG time (since 2019, to be exact!). You won't want to miss it! See more details below.

The Grizzly Band is beach-bound in Port Aransas/Corpus Christi!!!

We're excited to announce our optional but highly encouraged Spring Trip to Port Aransas! This is going to be a relaxing and fun time to unwind and spend time together after our UIL performances. We'll be spending 4 days and 3 nights at the El Constante beachside condominiums and enjoying the beach!

Seniors will also be getting a special senior golf cart outing!
