Welcome to Glenn Band 2023-2024!
Whether you are a parent of a returning student or brand new to our program, we want to welcome you to our band family! We are so glad you are here! We know that the beginning of the year can be overwhelming, and we, the booster board, are here to help ease you into this new year!
The following information is very important to know what is going to be happening in the coming weeks! Please be sure to read this!

Did you know?
Every parent (yes, that includes you!) is a part of the booster club here in the Glenn Grizzly Band! Our parents are a huge part of our program and we need you! Every parent should attend the booster meetings, volunteer when possible, and stay in the know! This is very important for the continued success of our program! Thank you SO much for your continued support for our amazing kids!

New This Year: Section Parents
In the coming weeks (before summer band starts) we will be rolling out information about our section parents. These designated (awesome!) parents will serve as the people that will help answer general questions and help form community in your section (and ultimately, the band program.)
Be on the lookout for an email soon! If you have questions before then, please reach out to info@glennband.org to be directed to the board member that can help you!
NOTE: if you signed up to be a section parent, please be on the lookout for an email by the end of the week from Amanda (Vice President of Communication) for important information!

Volunteer Opportunities for Summer Band Camp
One of our first upcoming volunteer opportunities is FRUIT STAND! Our amazing hospitality team is a huge and much appreciated part of Summer Band camp. These wonderful parents serve fruit and drinks to help keep our kids hydrated. Sign ups will be coming out soon!
NOTE: MANY more volunteer opportunities will be coming available in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out so you can sign up to help!
We need you!
Other volunteer opportunities will include: Pit Crew, Chaperones, Hospitality, Photography Team, etc. Your participation is GREATLY appreciated!

Percussion Camp - July 17 - Percussion Only
Gems Camp - July 17 - Gems Dance Co Only
Summer Band Camp - July 26 - FULL Band
ITEMS WE NEED FOR BAND CAMP!
In addition to the items that the directors will ask your students to bring to camp, please be sure to bring these items so we can help make the experience for your child even BETTER! If we all work together, we can make this the best year yet!
YOUR PHYSICAL FORMS!
Your student's physical form is DUE by the morning of the first day of summer band camp (July 17th for Percussion/Gems and July 26 for all other sections) or your student will not be able to participate.
WE NEED WATER!
Please bring (at least) one case of water to your first day of band camp. This will help us keep our kids hydrated as they navigate the HOT Summer heat! Our fruit stand team will be serving these bottles of water and working to keep the kids in top shape!
BRING YOUR FRUIT AND SNACKS!
In order to stock our daily fruit and snack stand, each section will be responsible for bringing fruit or a snack each day.
Please see the information below for important fruit stand information from our Hospitality lead, Libby and to check the schedule to see which fruits and/or snacks your student will be bringing and when.
Band Fees, Installments, and Required Items
Your student's band fees can be paid online or in person. To pay in full online or to pay your installment, click the button below. To pay by cash or check, please drop your payment off to the booster box in the band hall when the band hall reopens.
